About us
Wolfgang Böttcher has been passionately dedicated to photography since the age of 16. Starting with analogue technology and later expanding to digital possibilities, he has developed his own style over the years. His work focuses on black and white photography, which allows him to explore light, contrasts and forms in their purest form.
He finds his artistic expression particularly in the areas of still life, street photography, landscapes, portraits and architectural photography. Whether the atmospheric moments of everyday life in street photography, the quiet beauty of nature, the structure and geometry of architecture or the depth and personality of a portrait – Wolfgang Böttcher succeeds in combining the simple and the special. Each picture tells its own story, free from distractions and focussed on the essentials.
In architectural photography, he shows a special eye for details, lines and perspectives. He captures the beauty of buildings, facades and urban structures and emphasises the architectural aesthetics through the interplay of light and shadow. He is not only interested in depicting buildings, but also in visualising the connection between space, form and people.
His photographic style is minimalist and authentic, always endeavouring to capture the essence of a moment. With years of experience in analogue and digital photography, he manages to create timeless images that captivate with their simplicity and clarity. His works are an invitation to look at the world from a new perspective – reduced, honest and powerful.
Wolfgang Böttcher is looking forward to sharing his passion for photography with others and conveying emotions and stories through his pictures.
